Our Summer Tours

Touring is central to our work. It enables us to fulfil our primary role as the touring company for East Anglia. We bring opera to remote places where people are rarely, if ever, enjoy the experience unless they are able to travel long distances from home. Children too benefit from the music education work linked to our tours. We would welcome sponsorship to meet the initial production costs (scenery, props and costumes, plus rehearsal expenses), as well as transportation and travel costs.

The Marriage of Figaro*

Heart of Darkness

This new chamber opera, written by Tarik O’Regan, is based on the famous Joseph Conrad story of the same name. OEP will give the world première of this eagerly awaited work at Covent Garden's Linbury Studio Theatre in 2011. New operas are a rarity and this one is already exciting a great deal of interest. O'Regan already enjoys an enviable reputation in a number of musical genres. Sponsors of the production will enjoy unrivalled publicity benefits and superb opportunities for corporate entertaining.
